The highlights of Ko Samui are its gorgeous beaches, but there are some other sights here, too which are very attractive for visitors. Some of the best attractions in Ko Samui are the following: the Paradise Park Farm, Samui Aquarium and Tiger Zoo, Namuang Waterfall, Hin Ta-Hin Yai, the Magic Buddha Garden and so on. In case you choose Ko Samui as your next holiday destination, I suggest you to discover the attractions of the island instead of lying all day long on the beach.

Hin Ta-Hin Yai

Hin Ta-Hin Yai is actually a complex of strangely shaped rocks. It can be found in the southern part of Lamai. A local legend says that the ship of an old couple was wrecked in the bay. As their bodies were washed ashore, they created these strange rocks. The site is another great attraction of Ko Samui.

The Magic Buddha Garden

Also known as the “Secret Buddha Garden”, this attraction of Ko Samui is a unique one. Hidden in the hills of the island, the garden was built by a fruit farmer in 1976. The only road which leads to the garden is a military one so you will have to convince the guards to let you pass. You can also visit the garden if you join a safari tour. It is absolutely worth the visit, as the garden includes fantastic Buddha and other kinds of statues.
