When you’re in Thailand, you can’t help but spend much of your day outdoors, and there’s no reason you’d want to stay inside in a country with this much natural beauty! The beaches of Thailand are too tempting to resist, and many of the most interesting sights in the country are outdoors. But if just spending time in the sun is not enough for you anymore, you could try to do something a bit more adventurous that will take you out of your hotel room. Thailand is the perfect destination for all sorts of exciting activities in the middle of nature, so you won’t have to sit in your room for a moment unless you want to! Elephant Riding

Elephants in Thailand can be found in rehabilitation and conservation centers and natural parks, and in many of these places you get the opportunity to come really close to these majestic animals. You can feed elephants, health to bathe them, and ride them. You can even take short courses to train as a mahout, an elephant driver! In any case, making friends with an elephant and going for a stroll in the wild on its back is one of the most exciting experiences you can have in Thailand.

Whitewater Rafting

Whitewater rafting has just started gaining popularity in Thailand, but it already has lots of fans. If you crave an adrenaline rush, then you should book a whitewater rafting expedition in southern Thailand. There are many adventure operators that offer rafting packages, mostly in the Phang Na where the rivers are perfect for some exhilarating rides.

Kayaking on the sea

Thailand’s tropical beach scenery is lovely when you’re on the shore, but even more stunning when you look at it from the water. Get some exercise and see some of the best beach landscapes in Thailand while paddling in the sea.
