The famous resorts town, Pattaya is situated in the east coast of the Gulf of Thailand. It is an extremely popular tourist destination. Pattaya is famous for its wonderful beaches and its belonging islands. The resort is also a very popular dive site. There are numerous spots at Pattaya where divers can enjoy this fantastic activity. Some of these sites are the following: Hin Kuak Maa, Hin Run Tek, Hin Luk Bath and so on. Whether you prefer to admire marine life or rock formations, both can be found in abundance at Pattaya.

Ko Pha Ngan

Another popular dive site in the Gulf of Thailand is Ko Pha Ngan. This island is famous for its fantastic full-moon parties, but not only. It is also a paradise for divers. As the underwater visibility in several spots is 10 meters, it is not considered the best dive spot, but still one of the most popular ones.

Ko Samui

Famous for its long and soft sanded beaches, the fantastic Ko Samui is a major tourist destination. If you would like to dive during your holiday, you can opt for Ko Samui, as there are several great dive sites in the region. Ko Samui is considered one of the best dive sites in the Gulf of Thailand. Sail Rock is considered the best dive spot at Ko Samui. Sail Rock is actually a rock pinnacle which rises over the surface of the water. The site is also abundant in underwater life. I suggest you not to miss it.
